ホームヘルパー養成講習者のレクリエーション・余暇 The Recreation and Leisure Activity in Home-helper Training Seminars 山本, 存 110004680852 The objective of this research was to compare the leisure and recreation situation for elderly people being cared for by persons who have received home-helper training seminars to that in persons who are carrying out volunteer elder-care activities and to discover whether there were differences, and if so, to clarify what the differences were and to use these basic findings when reviewing the content of the training seminars for persons studying to become home-helpers. The comparison of the home-helpers that received training seminars and the experienced volunteers showed that, compared with the home-helpers, the volunteers tended to be more supportive in their actions and attitudes toward leisure activities. With regard to training seminars for home-helpers, the importance of enjoying and supporting leisure time activities will be stressed and the home-helpers will be instructed to spend more effort in becoming involved in leisure activities themselves.
