Osterwalder brings to light in his history of the influence of Pestalozzi (Wirkungsgeschichte) a feverish personal cult of the educator. Osterwalder pursues this demythologizing study while emphasizing that Pestalozzi's \"pedagogical methodism\" is a kind of fiction. Is Osterwalder's argumentation really correct?
