Hong Kong offers one of the highest wages for domestic helpers in the Asia-Pacific region, and thus many FiHpinas come to work in Hong Kong. Nowadays, there are 142,500 Filipinas working in Hong Kong as domestic helpers. On Sundays and public holidays, they do not have to work, and can participate in various social and religious activities.
