| 内容記述 | 現在, 公貸権の導入など, 作家と図書館との関係が話題となっている。こうした時期に, 雑誌『図書館の学校』に, 集中的に掲載されたエッセイを分析することで, 図書館が現代の文芸関係者に「どうみられて」いるのか明らかにしょうと試みた。彼らの中にはかつての「威厳」のある図書館に復することを求めている人たちも存在する。しかし, そうした見解を表明しているのは, 現在, 図書館をほとんど利用していないか, あるいは自らの要求水準が高すぎるために, 公共図書館サービスに満足できない人たちであった。現実の図書館状況をある程度理解している人たちの見解も掲載されており, それが文芸関係者全体に広がっていくように, 図書館界全体の適切な対応が求められている。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper examines how libraries are seen by writers at this time when the relation between writers and libraries has been called in question by such events as the introduction of public lending rights. There are some who ask for the revival of a dignified concept of the library. However, some of those who express this view do not in fact use libraries, or on the contrary they make too great demands on libraries. Such people cannot be satisfied with the reality of libraries. The view of those who understand the actual library situation is also examined, and an appropriate response from literary persons concerned is called for so that this understanding may spread to all in the literary world. | |||||||
