| 内容記述 | ベルトラン・マルシャルによって編集された新しいプレイヤード版『全集』(全2巻1998 & 2003)の刊行により,新世紀のマラルメ研究を支える基盤がひとまず整えられたように思う。しかし,不満がないわけではない。とりわけ,「演劇に関する覚え書」(1886-87),ナショナル・オブザーバー紙掲載の記事(1892-93),「ある主題による変奏」(1895)といった批評を,『ディヴァガシオン』(1897)の前テクストの位置にとどめてしまったようにみえることが非常に残念である。それは,マラルメのようなエクリチュールの書き手のテクストをどのように扱い,どのような視点から考察するのかという重要な問題に関わってくる。マラルメを,とりわけ彼の批評テクストを,決定稿へと精錬させるパースペクティヴにおいて読むのではなく,一方では「生成論」的なまなざしを,他方でバルトがバルザックの校正刷に向けた同じまなざしをそこに注ぐことで,己れの生きた<世紀>に対峙する詩人の態度,つまりマラルメのべつの姿がそれ自体として見えてくるのではないか。マラルメ作品の「生成批評版」はそのような作業のためにこそ不可欠なのである。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | The basis that supports Mallarme studies in the new century has been prepared by the new OEuvres completes (2 vols) for 'Bibliotheque de la Pleiade' edited by Bertrand Marchal, excellent researcher. However, there should be some points to be reconsidered. We may not be satisfied with the treatment of Mallarme's criticism activities : "Notes sur le theatre" (1886-1887), National Observer essays (1892-93) and "Variations sur un Sujet" (1895). Marchal seems to calculate the value of those texts in his edition to treat them simply as 'avant-texte' of Divagations (1897). Now, we should try to read Mallarme's critical writings among the others not by the way of confining 'preoriginaux' in a so-called definitive version, but by the genetic way or by the way Roland Barthes would gaze on the proof of Balzac. In doing so, our poet, who faced toward the 'siecle' that he lived, or, in other words, another Mallarme 'tel qu'en lui-meme' would appear from the pages where we pursue 'noir sur blanc'. It is concerned with an important problem how we should treat and what aspect we should consider when we examine the texts of a writer like Mallarme. For the future, therefore, the diplomatic edition of Mallarmean works is indispensable for a such study. | |||||||
