| 内容記述 | 戦争の非体験者が非体験者に平和を語り継いでいこうとする時, 戦争の何を, どのように語り, それを平和活動へとつなげていけばよいのだろうか? 沈黙という語りが, 戦争継承の一つのあり方である。本稿では, ひろみさんという女性の語りを通して, 沈黙が語るためには何が必要かを考えてみたい。彼女の両親は, 沖縄戦を体験しながらそのことについてはほとんど語らなかった。彼女の父親は, いくつかの戦争についての普遍的な言葉を語ったにすぎない。しかしながら, 夢にうなされるなどの戦争体験の断片を垣間見せた。ひろみさんが, 父親の普遍的な言葉と戦争体験の断片, そして沖縄戦に関する知識から「戦争」を構成した時, 沈黙は戦争体験を語るのである。彼女の母親は, 戦争体験について頑なに何も語ろうとせず, 自らの体験を本や映画によって描かれる戦争イメージと一線を画した。ひろみさんは母親の態度から, 平和な生活は戦争を日常生活から隔絶することによって保たれるのだと受け止めている。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | When circumstances require us, who have no experience of war, to hand down peace to those who have no experience of war, how should we narrate about war and relate it to a peace action? A silent narrative is one way for the inheritance of war. In this essay, I will consider what is necessary to make a silence narrate through the narrative of a woman, Hiromi. Her parents told her hardly anything about the experience of the battle of Okinawa, although they experienced it. Her father just told her a few general phrases about the war, however he showed a part of his war experience by such ways as crying out in his sleep. When Hiromi constructs "war" by general phrases and a piece of the war experience of her father, and knowledge of the battle of Okinawa, a silence narrates the war experience. Her mother obstinately told her nothing about the war experience and drew a line between the experience of herself and images of war described in books or movies. Hiromi interprets through her mother's attitude that peaceful life is maintained by separating war from daily life. We need a foothold on a particular reality in order to inherit war experience. | |||||||
