| 内容記述 | 共通科目「現実をみるG」を展開するにあたり,教員から学生への一方向の授業とならない工夫として,テーマに対して学生間のディスカッションを中心とした授業計画を立案し,実践した。授業の前後で,Kikuchi's Social Skill Scale(Kiss-18)を測定し,また授業前に本授業に対する期待度,授業後に満足度をたずね,統計的検討を加えたところ,Kissのうち,コミュニケーションスキルに関する2項目で良好な変化の傾向が認められ,授業前の期待度より有意に高い満足度が得られた。また半数以上の学生の自由記載の中に,ディスカッションを取り入れたことに対するプラス評価が示された。授業評価を分析し,その分析結果に即して教員が意識的に授業方法に工夫を凝らし授業改善につなげることが重要であると再認識された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In developing the subject "Perspectives on the Real World G", which is taught as a part of a liberal arts education program, a teaching plan which revolves around the discussion by students of certain topics was developed and delivered as an attempt to avoid "the one-way lecture" style of instruction. Before and after the class, students' social skills were measured using Kikuchi's Social Skill Scale (Kiss-18). In addition, students were asked about their level of expectation before the class and their satisfaction afterwards. The results of a statistical examination revealed a positive change in two items relating to the communication skills in Kiss, which suggested that the level of satisfaction was significantly higher than the expectation before the class. Furthermore, more than half of the students responded to the introduction of discussion positively in their free response space. This study highlighted once again the importance of teachers analysing the students' evaluation of teaching and utilising the results to make a conscious effort to develop a creative teaching plan in order to improve their teaching. | |||||||||
