| 内容記述 | OTOTACHIBANA-HIME who appears in the Kojiki and the Nihonshoki threw herself into the sea in order to appease anger of the sea god, and saved her husband. "The figure of the death by drowning" describing the moment OTOTACHIBANA-HIME jumps into the sea appeared at the Meiji period, and has been drawn on women's magazines, boys' magazines, children's books, national authorized textbooks, etc. In this paper, I gave an outline about birth and transformation of the iconographic image of OTOTACHIBANA-HIME. | |||||||
