| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to show some of the process, mainly the change of a woman herself, in which a person of cerebral palsy cared by her parents achieves independent life. I focused on a woman of cerebral palsy named Ms. A, and clarified her process of achievement by qualitative study. And, I traced Ms. A's inclination toward a single life, which was a beginning of her second decision in the process. She began to think about shifting her life from living together with her parents to independent one, several months after she had introduced a periodical dispatch of an attendant to her home, because of some domestic troubles caused by her relations with mother, the movement of other cerebral palsy people in Z institution, and physical decay of both parents and herself. So, she began to be active for realization of her independence. The disable people at Z institution, its service and the staff at X independent living center affected her behavior. On the other hand, she felt uneasiness about her own independence, but she did not try to cope with it. I also discovered that her skills of coping with the uneasy feeling about independence and the self-disclosure towards the staff were critical to her realization of her independence. | |||||||
